Who we are

 Maximum enrollment at 24 students. Each student thrives within the fusion of rigorous academics, experiential learning, outdoor education, and the development of a hacker mindset.

 Parents and teachers choose Driven because of the teachers and the small community of interesting people that use the Makerspace for innovative projects. Parents and students have a large influence on the culture of the school and how we choose to use school resources to support Austin’s creative community.

The Teacher(s). We are here because we dreamt this thing up. It is ours. It is nothing without our students and families, but it is ultimately lead by our own passion and contagious enthusiasm. 

Teachers are employed on a permanent basis, not one year contracts. The salary from day one is the highest in Austin (almost double the average teacher salary in Austin).
